Chris Fox

Chris Fox is a Staff Machine Learning Engineer on the NLP Modeling team at ASAPP. He was the main technical contributor and later the technical lead of the machine learning component of the Auto-Suggest feature, which saves time for chat customer service agents by suggesting the next response to send to the customer and helps new agents better align with best practices. He has worked on bringing new models from research into production as well as developing improved models. Previously, he was a backend engineer at Clarifai, a computer vision startup, where he helped transition the backend from Python to Go and to launch features such as custom models and visual search. He holds a MS in Computer Science from North Carolina State University.
